The Orange County Section of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers serves chemical engineers who live or work in Orange County. OC-AIChE actively promotes the professional growth of both its members and technical professionals from a wide variety of disciplines. We encourage everyone to come to our monthly meetings, where you will hear speakers discuss topics of interest to both technical professionals and the community as a whole. Topics range from the proposed desalination plant in Huntington Beach to the new fuel cell car developed by Honda. Students are particularly welcome. Who, What and Why Are WeThis Web site is provided as a service to the members of the section and all other engineering professionals. Click on the links at the left to get more details. In addition to the information provided on this web site, you are encouraged to attend our quarterly dinner meetings, which are described below. There is no substitute for meeting real people and having real conversations. Whether you are happily employed and love your job, retired, thinking about changing your career, a student or unemployed, you should attend our meetings.
