BIOCOM, a premiere life science industry association representing more than 500 member companies, has recently launched the BIOCOM Online Workforce Center at www.biocomworkforce.org. This website, which was developed in collaboration with the US Department of Labor, the San Diego Workforce Partnership and the Southern California Biotechnology Center, is a “one-stop shop” for career resources in the life sciences and is intended to help educate the region’s talent pool about the skills necessary to fill positions in this industry. The center is organized into four sections: Life Science Careers, Education and Training, BIOCOM Initiatives, and Resources. Please see www.biocomworkforce.org.
