The Orange County Section of the American Institute of
Chemical Engineers (OC-AIChE) is a dynamic,
professional organization that serves chemical and other
engineering professionals in Orange County, California. We
use our quarterly dinner meetings to explore topics of
interest to all engineering professionals and the public at large.
For information on these meetings, click on "Next Meeting" to the
left. Presentations from some of our past meetings may be
seen by clicking on "Meeting Notes," also to the left.
Membership in OC-AIChE is not required to
attend meetings, and we encourage everyone to attend. When you
attend one of our meetings, you will find that we are a very casual and
friendly organization. In addition to hearing a presentation on a
timely topic, you will be able to enjoy dinner at Khoury's Restaurant,
which is located right on Alamitos Bay in Long Beach.
Dinner starts at 6:30 PM, but please come at
6:00 PM to meet fellow engineers and students in a relaxed social
setting. Whether you are a student, thinking of making a career
change or unemployed, you will be able to network, compare notes and
swap stories with old and new friends.
To broaden the opportunities for you to network with
engineers in southern California, all four of our dinner
meetings are joint meetings with our friends and colleagues in the Los Angeles County
Section of AIChE.
If you are a student and want to work in Los
Angeles or Orange County after graduation, our meetings offer an
ideal opportunity to meet engineers who can provide tips on where you
should apply for work.
Dominic Meo III, P.E.
President OC-AIChE
